There are a lot of bicycle trails in Ohio, and OH Trails has not yet visited all of them. For ones we haven't visited, we recommend visiting the Ohio TrailLink page, which reviews 181 of them (plus the Great American Rail-Trail) as of the time of this writing. While it isn't 100% comprehensive, it does a pretty good job, and is how we disovered many of the trails reviewed here.
For the trails we've reviewed, we've organized them by area of the state, in a 9x9 grid. These correspond with our Komoot Regions map, which will be added soon.
OH Trails is based in Central Ohio, so there will probably be the most trails here.
Darby Creek GreenwayNorthwest Ohio trails are in the Toledo or Bowling Green area. Unfortunately, we haven't visited any of these yet.
The best-known Northern Ohio trail is the North Coast Inland Trail.
Cleveland and Akron are in Northeast Ohio.
West Ohio includes Grand Lake St. Mary's.
We've listed Central Ohio first as that's our home, and hence where most of the reviews live.
Eastern Ohio is the part closest to Pittsburgh.
Southwest Ohio includes Cincinnati. There are a plethora of trails in the area between Dayton and Cincinnati, and this is an area where we hope to drastically increase our number of reviews in the near future!
Southern Ohio includes Chillicothe.
Southeast Ohio includes Athens.
